Ghana Air Force wrapped up its run in the first round of the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II with a win.
Air Force beat Ada Knights 66-57 in one of two games in the Division that was played last night at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.
Winning the midweek matchup ensured Air Force-the Division leaders-went out on a winning note, beating Knights was the team’s seventh win in eight games.
For Knights, who clinched a 52-29 win over Tudu Galaxy heading to the matchup, the loss halted a potential two game winning streak to close out its campaign in the first round. The team won two of eight games.
The only team to beat Air Force-University of Ghana (UG)-continued its winning ways in the Division as the team scored a 40-36 win over Tudu Galaxy.
