Ghana Air Force, Braves of Customs Male and Female Teams lead respective divisions in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) as the midseason break approaches.
Air Force leads the Men’s Division II with 13 points from winning six of seven games played including a 59-47 win over Kaneshie Swanlakers. The team’s sole loss thus far was a shock 47-54 loss to University of Ghana (UG).
The team takes on eighth ranked Ada Knights later tonight at the Prisons Court in Cantonments at 16:00 GMT in one of two matchups in the division.
Braves Men’s Team is in the running to score another unbeaten season in the ABL Division I; the team has won all seven games played this season.
Dominating games, Braves have a whopping goal difference of 172 and holds a point advantage over close rival Tema Youth who lie in second place.
In the Women’s Division, Braves hold a two point lead over Ghana Navy after winning all seven games played including a 56-46 win over bitter rival Ghana Police Service.
