Earlier tonight at the Tema Community 4 Court, Teshie Rangers delivered the biggest upset of the round of games in the Tema Community Basketball League.

Rangers ranked bottom of the 12 team standings beat second ranked Tema Community 2 31-26. The win is Rangers third this season in nine games.

On the other hand, C2 loses for the fourth time in 11 games and the first in four games after hitting a three game winning streak. The team has complete the first half of the season and will get enough rest ahead of the conclusion of the part of the 2019 campaign.

In the opening game, home side Community 4 clinched a straight forward 54-27 win over Akatsi Rifles with Community 4 shooting its way to victory from three point range. Guards Brian Kwami and Thomas Amedeku were pivotal in the fourth quarter.

Tema Rockets led 30-28 midway through the final quarter against Tema Wildcats with the latter threatening to tie the game and surpass the former. However, late big baskets from Philip Amralo and McMartey Lawer gave Rockets a 39-35 win.

The final game between Spintex Knights and Tema Heat lived up to the billing as the biggest fixture of the round with the teams combining for an entertaining game. Knights rode a big 40-27 third quarter lead to win 48-33.
