Former NBA top ten draft pick Jimmer Fredette will play alongside Ghana Small Forward Ben Bentil next season in the Greece A1 Basketball League.

This comes after the 2011 lottery pick signed with the Greek Giant following another failed path back to the NBA. He played in the ongoing Sumer League with Golden State Warriors but left the team after two games.

He teams up with Bentil and a host of former NBA draft picks in DeShaun Thomas, Tyrese Rice and former Sacramento Kings Center George Papagiannis.

Like Bentil, Fredette has played in China before moving to Europe for the first time in his career. He played for Shanghai Sharks in the Chinese Basketball Association.

Panathinaikos snapped up Bentil earlier this month after the 2016 NBA Draft pick impressed with Peristeri GS averaging 12.5 points and 6.7 rebounds.

Both players get the chance to compete in the continental championship-EuroLeague- next season. Bentil played for Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China and a host of teams before landing in Greece.
