The top three teams in the Tema Community Basketball League stayed put in their respective spots after the conclusion of games in the latest round of games.

Nungua Coldstore, Tema Community 2 and Sakumono Titans continue to rank first, second and third in the standings respectively.

Defending champions Coldstore lost 41-46 to Tema Heat in the first meeting between the two sides after facing off in last season’s finals series. Coldstore won 2-1 last year.

Nungua leads the way with 19 points but its lead has been cut to two following Community 2’s 39-23 win over Tema Wildcats.

C2’s win was the seventh for the team in 10 games and has 17 points. The team is on a three game winning run and has gained the most momentum as the first round comes to an end.

Titans rank high despite losing seven of 11 games after making more appearances than a host of teams competing in the league. Sakumono lost 48-52 to Spintex Knights.

Teshie Rangers remain in the bottom spot after losing 38-57 to Tema Community 4. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
