Teshie Rangers run at the bottom spot in the Tema Community Basketball League continues following a 38-57 loss to Tema Community 4.
The game was played in the immediate past round of league games played at the Community 4 Court on Sunday, July 7.
Losing condemned Rangers to a sixth defeat in eight this season as the first round approaches the end. Rangers made it to last season’s playoffs as the seventh seed.
The Teshie side is one of two teams with the least number of appearances in the ongoing campaign; 2017 League Champions Community 4 is the other team.
However, Rangers need to win games quickly to gain ground on the rest of the field. The team plays in form Tema Community 2 next.
Unlike Rangers, Community 2 is heading to the end of the first round on a good run. C2 is on a three game winning streak heading to Sunday, July 14.
Despite losing for the first time in 2019, Nungua Coldstore leads the standings.
