Ghana Center Amida Brimah scored 14 points for Brooklyn Nets helping the team record an 88-85 win over Washington Wizards in the 2019 NBA Summer League.
The win comes in Nets third game in the preseason after falling 92-96 loss to Dallas Mavericks in the first game with Jarrett Allen scoring 15 points.
However, Brooklyn bounced back last night with Brimah registering a near double double. He scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Unlike his previous stint in the Summer League, Brimah started the game and played 19 minutes and added two blocks in the winning efforts.
The 6 foot 11 inch defender scored five of seven attempts from the field, three of his eight rebounds came on the offensive side.
This represents the third straight game Brimah has registered a block after doing so against Dallas and a select side from Croatia.
Amida scored two and three points respectively in those games. Brimah is battling for a spot on Nets roster for the 2019-2020 season.
