Ghana Center Amida Brimah played for the second time in the 2019 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas for Brooklyn Nets featuring in the Nets first win of the preseason competition.

Brooklyn recorded a lopsided 74-58 win over a select side from Croatia in its second game following a 92-96 loss to Dallas Mavericks on Friday, July 5.

Brimah played 13 minutes in the win registering three points, one rebound and two blocks as he increased his production from his debut game.

Against Dallas, the 6 foot 11 inch defender registered two points, one rebound and block in seven minutes starting from the bench.

The increase in productivity and minutes is good for the former University of Connecticut Captain who is vying for a spot on the Nets for the 2019-2020 NBA season.

One of Brimah’s blocks made it to the highlight reel when he rejected a shot attempt in the fourth quarter that led to a fast break alley oop dunk finish from first year player Nicolas Claxton.
