Braves of Customs keep streaking along in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I after extending its winning run with another win.
Customs grabbed its seventh win of the season following a 73-45 victory over Ghana National Fire Service at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu on Friday.
The defending champions Braves headlined a two game Week 14 schedule in the league’s elite Men’s division. Braves get to maintain its spot atop the standings with 14 maximum points.
Adenta Leopards came from behind to beat Kawukudi Warriors in the follow up game 55-54 despite trailing by five points at half time.
Leopards recovered from a 25-30 deficit to pip Warriors to the win; getting the win improved Leopards record for the season to four victories in seven games.
That ties second ranked Fire Service’s record for the campaign. Novas beat Ada Knights 53-49 in the Men’s Division II condemning Knights to a fifth loss for the season in six games.
Novas on the other hand, improve to four wins in seven games.
