Members of the Final Four in last season’s Tema Community Basketball League lead the way in the ongoing 2019 league campaign.
Defending league champions Nungua Coldstore and Tema Community 2 occupy the top two spots in the league almost half way through the 2019 season.
Coldstore sits pretty comfortably at the apex with 18 maximum points from winning all nine games played. C2 has made the same number of appearances but have lost three games.
Nungua did not compete in the last round of games after clinching a 49-35 win over Tema Rockets; Community 2 did compete and had to battle hard to beat Francophone Stars 30-29.
The general picture is still hard to determine due to the wild differences in games played by respective teams. Tema Community 4 ranks a spot above the bottom but has a winning record after bagging four wins in seven games.
Teshie Rangers are in the league’s basement after making the least appearances (with C4). Rangers have two wins in seven games. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
