Basketballlghana.com gathers two German Clubs are interested in signing Ghanaian-Italian International Small Forward Awudu Abass from Germani Brescia.

Bayern Munich and Alba Berlin have expressed interest in getting the 26 year old according to Sportando; Abass who can also play as a Shooting Guard in big lineups.

This adds to the list of teams that are in the hunt for the 6 foot 7 inch player’s service following his impressive outing with Brescia in the just ended Serie A season.

Virtus Bologna and former club Olimpia Milano want Abass; Brescis is also keen on retaining his services despite the second year of his contract having an opt out clause.

After winning the 2017-2018 league title with Milano, Abass moved to Brescia to get more playing time. His decision proved the right one as his improved form got him back into the Italian National Team’s qualifiers for the World Cup.

Averaging 13.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in 30 games for Brescia, Abass replicated similar production (10.2 points) as Italy ended its 13 year wait for a World Cup appearance.

Born to a Ghanaian father in Italy, Abass is in line to play for Italy in China come August 31.
