Ghana Forward Reggie Agbeko is on the move in Europe again this time to the Spanish Minor League Basketballghana.com gathers.
The 6 foot 7 inch player has signed for Albacete according to EuroBasket after a season of inactivity following league finals run in Denmark with Horsens IC.
The 26 year old was a regular contributor at Horsens averaging 8.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 32 games in the 2017-2018 season.
Horsens featured in the League Finals series against Bakken and lost to the latter despite winning the regular season. The finals series was Agbeko’s first since turning pro in 2017.
Agbeko spent four years at St. Louis University Billikens in 2017 after spending a year at South Kent School, a prep school in Connecticut.
He graduated with a degree in Communications and had been a native in Buffalo, New York since moving from Ghana in 2010.
His move represents what is shaping to be an interesting offseason for Ghanaian players abroad with Amida Brimah and Ben Bentil in line for big moves in the NBA and Euro League respectively.
