Braves of Customs continue to lead the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I standings after making five appearances in the ongoing 2019 season.

The defending league champions are yet to lose a game and rank first in the standings with 10 maximum points with Ghana National Fire Service matching Braves point tally.

However, Fire Service has played six times this season winning four and losing two in the process to rank second behind Customs.

After suffering a shock 74-80 loss to Reformers of Prisons in the last round of league games, Tema Youth is in third place on the standings. The loss was Youth’s first in the campaign.

Ghana Police ranks eighth on the nine team rankings with seven points after grabbing two wins in five appearances. The team’s depth will improve for upcoming games as Shooting Guards Benjamin Debrah and Elvis Pobi-Siaw return from national team duties.

League debutants and last season’s Division II winners Adabraka CYO have fit in the elite division just fine in fourth place after three wins in six games.
