The Senior National Men’s 3×3 Basketball Team will finish in the last spot in Pool A at the African Beach Games after recording no wins in three games.
Ghana ranks last in the four team Pool made up of West African nations including host nation Cape Verde ahead of the final round of games in the competition.
The tournament commenced on June 14 and is due to end on Sunday, June 23 but Ghana won’t be on the podium after crashing out at the preliminary stage.
Ghana lost 17-21to Mali, 9-21 to Cape Verde and 9-21 to close neighbor Ivory Coast with the latter losses coming on Friday, June 21.
Prior to the final game between Mali and Ivory Coast, the bottom places have been confirmed with Cape Verde coming in third ahead of Ghana.
Ivory Coast and Mali are yet to lose a game in the tournament thus far and the winner of today’s match tops the Pool. Algeria topped Pool B with Tunisia in second place.
