Ghana born France International Point Guard Billy Yakuba Ouatarra and his Monaco side face a possible sweep in the 2018-2019 French Pro A League Finals Series.

Monaco trails ASVEL 0-2 in the best five game series in the finals heading to Game 3 later tonight. Another loss for Monaco means a second straight title win for ASVEL.

6 foot 5 inch Guard Yakuba has yet to light up the series the way he did in the previous stages of the playouaoffs where he consistently recorded double digit scores.

In Game One’s 71-81 loss, the 27 year old scored six points while adding six rebounds and a steal in 25 minutes. Four of his points came from the charity stripe.

In Game Two’s 67-73 loss, his point tally increased to 10 registering two steals, an assist and two rebounds in the process.

A big game performance tonight is needed from Ouatarra for Monaco to extend the series. The Tepa born player has been included in the reserve list for France’s 2019 World Cup roster.
