Braves of Customs, Tema Youth and Ghana Air Force have clinched wins in the Accra Basketball League last round of games this past weekend.

Customs continued its fine form on its return to Ghana from Kenya by clinching a 58-40 win over Ghana National Fire Service.

Braves earlier in the week beat bitter rival and defending league champions Ghana Police Service 56-46 in its first game after touring Kenya.

After suffering a surprising 47-54 loss to University of Ghana (UG), Men’s Division II leaders Air Force recovered to beat Novas 73-60. Air Force led 29-25 at half time.

Adenta Leopards and Tema Youth are considered major threats to Braves title in the Division I and the two faced off. Youth won 75-68.

At half time, Tema Youth led 41-39 and Leopards reduced its deficit to one (55-56) at the end of the third quarter but lost ground in the final quarter.

Youth lost out on second place to Leopards in last season’s final league standings.
