Red hot Tema Rockets fine run in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League is sure to be put to the test later today at Tema’s Chinese Court.
Rockets take on defending league champions Nungua Coldstore in the last league fixture with the former winning three of four games to move up the standings to third place.
Coldstore on the other hand, has won all seven games played this season and paces the league with 14 points; three more than Rockets.
Rockets with its rebuilt roster laden with veteran players including Ebenezer and Enoch Borsah and former league Most Valuable Player Aninagyei Osei is far detached from the team that missed last season’s playoffs.
While Coldstore continues to struggle to put teams away during games, it has come out consistently with big plays down the stretch to walk away with victory.
Sakumono Titans play Teshie Rangers in the opening game at 15:30 GMT while Akatsi Rifles play Francophone Stars before Teshie Vikings take on Tema Community 2 in the third game.
