Ghana Forward Bent Bentil will play alongside American Guard Steven Gray should the former play next season at Peristeri GS following Gray’s decision to stay with the club beyond this season.
The nine year veteran Guard resigned with the club recently committing his immediate future to the Athens based club for another year.
For the 2018-2019 Greece A1 Basketball League regular season, Gray averaged 29.8 minutes in 34 games registering 12.4 points, two assists and 2.4 rebounds per contest.
In the postseason, the 6 foot 5 inch player has been a steady presence for Peristeri who are battling AEK for a third place finish after losing a five game series to Panathinaikos at the semifinal stage.
In two games against AEK, Gray has scored 13 and seven points respectively; Bentil on the other hand, has dished out 10 and 17 points in two games.
Peristeri beat AEK 66-65 but lost 71-79 in the second matchup. Bentil averaged 15 points and 8.5 rebounds prior to Peristeri’s elimination at the hands of Panathinaikos.
