Basketballghana.com gathers Nungua Coldstore is likely to give players from its Under 19 side Nungua Youngings extensive minutes later tonight in the Tema Community Basketball League matchup against Tema Wildcats.
Tonight’s game is the last of four games scheduled to be honoured at the Tema Community 4 Court with the first game between Francophone Stars and Spintex Knights tipping off at 15:30 GMT.
In its maiden season in the league, Wildcats have impressed bagging 43-42 and 36-21 wins over Knights and Akatsi Rifles respectively and are confident as they prepare to play the defending champions.
Wildcats have a prominent group of players who featured in the past Under 19 League campaigns and as a measure to test the readiness of its group; Coldstore is in line to pick a host of players from Youngings.
Youngings placed second in the 2017 Tema League Under 19 Championship following a 39-46 loss to host Tema Community 4.
Coldstore have won the Tema League title twice in 2016 and 2018. The team is yet to lose a game in five outings this season.
