Ghana born French International Point Guard Yakuba Ouatarra has led Monaco to the French League Pro A Finals after sweeping Dijon in the best of five games semifinals on Friday.

Outarra scored 15 points in Monaco’s 81-78 Game 3 win over Dijon to clinch a third straight win in the series and book its spot in the finals.

Monaco will battle ASVEL for the league crown after the latter side overcame Nanterre with a similar sweep in the other semifinal series.

The 27 year old Ouatarra led his side in scoring in all three games scoring 19 points in Game One and improving his tally to 23 points in an 84-75 win in Game Two.

In the deciding Game 3, the Tepa born Shooting Guard had a rough shooting night from three point range converting just one of five attempts.

He was successful from the field converting six of eight shots and added six rebounds and an assist in 30 minutes as a starter. In the previous games, Ouattara came off the bench.

He has represented France at the Junior and Senior National level.
