Novas, University of Ghana (UG) and Ghana Police Service were victors in Accra Basketball League (ABL) games played earlier today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

UG had a mixed outing as its Female side lost heavily to Women’s Division defending champions Police Service; UG lost 22-88.

However, its Men’s team clinched a big 54-47 win over Ghana Air Force in its debut game in the Men’s Division II this season.

The final game of the day had Novas beat Dunk Knights 58-55 in an enthralling game Novas made its experience count late in the game to clinch the win.

After falling 14-89 to Braves of Customs, UG’s Women’s Team was no match again for another power house in the division and got easily blown out by a Police side that defeated Tudu Galaxy 84-18 in its previous encounter.

Playing for the first time in the league and without Coach Dr. Baba Samori-who walked away from the program after two years-UG got its campaign off to a great start by beating the Division II leaders Air Force.

Below is a full breakdown of results earlier today:
Women’s Division: UG 22-88 Ghana Police
Men’s Division II: UG 54-47 Air Force
Men’s Division I: Novas 58-55 Dunk
