Ghana National Fire Service and Reformers of Prisons played each other twice on Friday, June 7 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Each team walked away from the matchups with a win after Fire recorded a 52-51 win over Reformers in the Women’s Division.
Prisons got a straightforward 59-59 win over Fire in the Men’s Division matchup ending its losing run in the 2019 season.
The win is Prisons first of the ongoing campaign after losing four straight games prior including a 59-72 loss to Adabraka CYO.
In the final game of the round, Tudu Magic clinched a 41-37 win over Kawukudi Warriors to sealing victory losing narrowly to the likes of Ghana Police Service.
Later tonight at the same venue, University of Ghana (UG) will feature in the Men’s Division II and Women’s Division against Ghana Air Force and Ghana Police respectively.
Police are defending league champions while Air Force leads the Division II standings; playing Air Force is UG’s debut matchup.
The final game has Dunk Knights taking on Novas in Division II. The first game between UG and Police tips off at 15:00 GMT.
