Reformers of Prisons is scheduled to line up against Ghana National Fire Service for a tough matchup in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I later tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Prisons head to tonight’s matchup following a 59-72 loss to Adabraka CYO while Fire Service had a 65-60 win over Adenta Leopards. Leopards placed second at the end of last season’s standings.
In the loss to CYO, Prisons were lucky to see the game out with its roster intact after several members frustrations boiled over and could easily have been hit with technical fouls leading to an ejection from the game.
That contributed significantly to Reformers trail CYO by as many as 20 points for long stretches in the third quarter. Avoiding such shenanigans could play a key role in getting the team its first win of the season.
Four games into the season, Reformers are yet to win a game in the 2019 season. The game tips off after the female version takes place at 15:00 GMT.
Tudu Magic plays Kawukudi Warriors in the last game.
