The Ghana National Male 3×3 Basketball Team will compete at the first ever Africa Beach Games in Cape-Verde Basketballghana.com gathers.

This comes after members of the team were present at the Ghana Olympic Committee Office in the West African nation’s capital, Accra to have a first look at the official kit for the games.

Elvis Pobi-Siaw, Benjamin Debrah, David Maja and Desmond Cobblah will represent Ghana in Cape Verde in the maiden edition of the Beach Games.

The multi sport event is set to have athletes from several countries on the continent compete in Beach Volley Ball and Free Style Football.

Representatives of the Olympic Committee including Media Attache Michael Okuley and Chef du Mission Stephen Asante Bekoe were present at the event.

Toyota Ghana has funded the purchase of three airline tickets, polo shirts and baseball caps for the Ghanaian contingent. The competition runs from June 14 to 23 with athletes from 54 countries set to compete in 11 disciplines overall.
