Braves of Customs is scheduled to play Ghana Air Force on Wednesday, June 4 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu on its return to the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.
This is Braves first matchup in the league since returning to Ghana after a tour of Kenya where the multiple time league champions competed in friendly games in the East African country.
The headline game had Braves play Kenya’s National Female Team-the Lionesses- but lost 18-56. The game was a preparatory exercise for Kenya who are set to compete in continental matchups in the upcoming months.
Braves are yet to lose a game this season but have an outstanding game against bitter rival Ghana Police Service to honour. Police beat Braves twice in the league last season en route to clinching the league title.
Air Force heads to the game on the back of a 36-28 win over Tudu Galaxy after overcoming a 2-8 first quarter loss and shaky start.
The second game on the day has Panthers taking on Junior Reformers in the Men’s Division II.
