Ghana Forward Bentil and his Peristeri GS side face elimination from the Greece A1 Basketball League playoffs at the semifinal stage.

Peristeri takes on Panathinaikos later tonight in Game 3 of the series needing a win to avoid elimination from the 2018-2019 playoffs.

Panathinaikos has a 2-0 series lead after recording two straight wins including an 86-66 win in Game 2 played over the weekend.

Bentil was impressive in Game One registering 19 points and 14 rebounds extending his impressive play in his playoffs as a professional player.

However, that run ended in Game 2 after scoring just four points off four shot attempts. Unlike the first meeting, Bentil started Game 2 from the bench.

As Peristeri’s main option on offense, Bentil needs to be more aggressive to give his side a chance to grab a win in the series.

A place in the finals awaits Panathinaikos who were involved in controversy in the regular season that had Olympiakos relegated and the club pull out of competing in Greece.
