Tudu Galaxy fell twice in two games played in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) earlier tonight at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.
Galaxy’s Female side was involved in a tough game against defending league champions Ghana Police Service in the first game.
The Junior Male side played immediately after that game against Novas in the Men’s Division II. However, both games ended in losses against the Tudu side.
Police hammered Galaxy’s Ladies Team 84-18 while the Junior Male side lost 34-41 to Novas to round up league games played this week.
Ghana Police put the game to bed after leading 34-3 at the end of the second quarter and extended its lead heading to the fourth quarter to 53 points (58-5).
Galaxy played better in the final quarter and got a trio of three point shots marking an improved performance. The Men’s Division II matchup had Galaxy stutter out of the blocks to trail 6-16 at the end of the first quarter but close the deficit to three points at the end of the first half.
Costly turnovers and ejection of Point Guard Raymond Affram hurt Galaxy in the second half.
