A couple of Security Service teams competing in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) in 2019 clinched impressive wins in the latest outings.
Ghana Air Force beat Kaneshie Swanlakers 59-47 in the Men’s Division II while Ghana National Fire Service clinched a 65-60 win over Adenta Leopards in Division I.
Both games were played at the Prisons Court in Cantonments on Friday with both games played under the threat of rain that has affected league games recently.
Air Force continue to impress in Division this season grabbing a fourth win thanks to its straight forward win over Swanlakers. The Kaneshie side has a win and a loss so far this season.
Likewise, Fire Service has been very good so far in the campaign and scored a very important win over last season’s second placed side Leopards.
Adenta was on a roll heading to the fixture grabbing wins over the likes of Reformers of Prisons but came up short despite leading at the end of the third quarter.
Leopards held a 48-44 lead but Fire fought back in the fourth quarter to take the win.
