Braves of Customs will feature in two games this weekend in Kenya as part of its season tour of the Eastern Country for the second straight year.
Braves departed Ghana earlier this week to honour the invitation from authorities in Kenya and get into action tonight including a matchup against the Kenyan National Team.
Tonight’s game is sanctioned by Kenya’s Basketball Federation as the National Male Team with proceeds from the game to be directed toward aiding the host country’s preparations for continental games according to reporter Cynthia Mumbo.
Ghana’s biggest club side then turns its attention to local side Ulinzi Warriors on Sunday, May 26; Ulinzi placed second in the just ended Kenyan Premier League with a record of 15 wins and five losses.
Braves on the other hand, are defending Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I Champions who ended last season without a loss in 18 games.
The team is yet to taste defeat this season and featured in the FIBA Zone 3 Championship late last year.
