Sakumono Titans showed no mercy towards Teshie Vikings but did the opposite by handing a fifth straight loss to the Teshie side.
Titans clinched a 39-21 win over Vikings in the immediate past round of games in the Tema Community Basketball League played at the Tema Community 4 Court.
The loss means Vikings are the only side ye to register a win in the 2018-2019 season thus far representing a very low mark for last season’s playoff side.
Titans on the other hand continue to impress in its debut season recording four wins in five games including a 43-42 win over Tema Wildcats.
In other results, Tema Rockets clinched its third straight win thanks to a 58-23 victory over Francophone Stars. Heading to the game, Stars ranked second in the standings.
Rockets new found form improves the team’s record to three wins in five games this season tying Francophone’s record.
Tema Heat lost 27-33 to Akatsi Rifles for the former’s third loss in the 2019 season.
