Young Boys Club Point Guard Robert Brew is in a grateful mood after landing his second GSP Basketball League title recently.
Brew was part of the Young Boys team that beat Spartans 32-10 over this past weekend at the Sunyani Technical University (STU) Court.
That win was enough to keep his side at the top of the standings on the final day of the 2018-2019 season and clinch the title.
Speaking to Basketballghana.com in the aftermath of the win, Brew commended his teammates and Coach Andrew Quansah for their support.
“Am grateful to God for helping me win this league for the second time. But it has not been an easy season. I thank my teammates because my teammates helped me to win the league for the second time. I thank Andy Quansah, my teammates and James Usher Brew for believing in me” he said.
Brew earned his first title with University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in 2017 and was named Most Valuable Player of the season.
