Four teams have successfully qualified to compete in the playoffs of the maiden edition of the Madina Community Basketball League.
Ridge Babies, University of Professional Studies (UPSA), Lake Side Club and Madina Raptors have secured the top four spots in the league standings to progress.
While Ballers and Blazers miss out on the postseason campaign, the aforementioned quartet will compete in the first ever playoffs in the community league.
The playoffs tip off in a fortnight at the UPSA Court with Ridge Babies taking on Lakeside and home side UPSA taking on Raptors.
Despite losing 22-28 to Lakeside in the last round, Ridge topped the standings with 16 points from winning eight of nine games.
A huge 56-21 win over Ballers was enough to push UPSA to second place in the six team standings. The win was enough to get UPSA ahead of Raptors who finished in third place with 10 points.
Ballers and Blazers ranked in the bottom spots in fifth and sixth place respectively with Raptors and Lakeside finishing the regular season above them. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:

It’s sad that a league in its early stages is this much rigged.. Ballers beat lakeside in the last but one game of the season so in order for the president n his team to progress they came up with dubious ideas to ensure ballers didn’t make it to the playoffs.. How they did it is a story to share another time
evidence is key ….. is either you prove the alleged rigging so to expose the president .
