Braves of Customs have been invited to compete in an invitational tournament in Kenya Basketballghana.com gathers.
The Male and Female Teams of Ghana’s most successful basketball club will compete in the tournament that run s from May 21 to June 1.
This is the second straight year Braves have been invited to the Eastern African country for a similar exercise. The Male side competed against the likes of Kenyan Ports Authority.
Braves impending travel will affect league games the teams have been scheduled to perform in the upcoming rounds.
Braves Female side was due to play arch rival and defending league champion Ghana Police Service on Wednesday, May 15 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
However, the game was postponed due to rain that affected the unroofed court and was subsequently set to be honoured in midweek at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.
The Male side ended last season as the league winners without losing a game and leads the 2018-2019 campaign. Braves Female side leads the Women’s Division in the current campaign.
