The 2018-2019 campaign ends tonight at the Sunyani Technical University (STU) Court with four games scheduled to end the season.
Young Boys matchup against Spartans is the toast of the fixtures since the game will decide the winner of this season’s league title.
Both teams have 31 points but Boys superior goal difference gives them the edge on the league standings with former league champions Suncity Braves in third place with 30 points and a mathematical chance of defending its title.
Regarding the Most Valuable Player Award race, Young Boys Point Guard Robert Fiifi Brew and Braves Isaac Amponsah are included in the seven man list for the award.
Brew and Amponsah won the award in 2016 and 2017 respectively and are battling for another swing at clinching the top individual accolade.
David Ziem and Andy Quansah of Young Boys, Kwame Acheampong and Nana Adu of Desert Rabbits and Michael Lartey of Spartans have been nominated for the award.
