Rockets beat Teshie Vikings 47-33 this past Sunday at the Tema Community 4 Court as one of four games played at the venue.
The win comes on the back of a big 58-21 victory over Teshie Rangers clinching the veteran team’s first win of the season.
Last season, Rockets recorded two wins but the team has already matched that mark four games into the 2019 campaign.
Long tenured players joined from various teams ahead of this season including 2017 League Most Valuable Player Award winner Aninagyei Osei, 2016 League winner Enoch Borsah from Nungua Coldstore and Tema Community 2 Guard Ebenezer Borsah.
In other results, Rangers lost 42-69 to Spintex Knights while Tema Wildcats lost 43-44 to Sakumono Titans in a faceoff two league debutants.
The final game of the day had Tema Community 4 fall surprisingly to Francophone Stars; Community 4 lost 35-38 to last season’s third place finishers.
