Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was in double digit scoring mode for his side Peristeri GS in the final round of games in the 2018-2019 Greece A1 Basketball League.

Bentil scored 11 points as Peristeri closed out the season with an 83-65 win over PAOK ahead of the postseason due to commence in the upcoming days.

The 6 foot 8 inch player came off the bench and played 20 minutes grabbing rebounds, two assists and a steal in Peristeri’s 17th win of the season.

Beating PAOK moves Persiteri up to fourth in the standings with a record of 17 wins and nine losses. PAOK end the season in sixth place.

Bentil’s side replaced Promitheas in the top four after the latter failed to beat Olympiacos; Promitheas lost 59-86. The top eight teams progress to the playoffs and Panathinaikos and Olympiakos rank as the top two seeds.

Former Dallas Mavericks signee Bentil has played a key role off Peristeri’s bench averaging 11.6 points and 6.5 rebounds in his first run with the team.
