Ghana Small Forward Bashir Ahmed scored 17 points helping Prishtina clinch a 106-80 win over Rahoveci in Game 3 of the Kosovo Basketball League Finals Series.
Beating Rahoveci by 26 points puts Prishtina back in the series’ lead after Rahoveci tied it with a win in Game 2 earlier this week.
Ahmed started Game One from the bench and scored eight points but since being moved to the starting lineup, the 6 foot 7 inch Swingman has recorded double digits.
He scored 25 points in Game 2 before adding 17 points in Game 3. Aside scoring 17 in the win, Ahmed added seven rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes of play.
The New York born Ghanaian scored all two free throws and converted six of 11 attempts from the field but shot poorly from three point range.
He scored just one of five shots from deep in a game teammates Myles Divine and Dardan Berisha scored 27 and 20 points respectively.
Game 4 is on Friday May 10.
