Ghana Forward Ben Bentil and his Peristeri GS side will feature later today in the Greece A1 Basketball League regular season finale.

The 2018-2019 regular season in Greece’s top tier comes to an end tonight with all 14 teams scheduled to compete including Peristeri.

The Athens-based team takes on PAOK with both teams already in the playoffs; Peristeri rank sixth and PAOK sit a spot lower in seventh.

Peristeri has 16 wins and nine losses this season while its opponent tonight has 15 wins and 10 losses. Both teams are battling for higher seedings in the playoffs.

Panathinaikos continues to lead the league ahead of bitter rival Olympiakos. Panathinaikos has lost just once thus far in the regular season to Peristeri.

Bentil has been a key component for his team’s progress since gaining promotion from the lower tier prior to this season especially from the bench.

The former Boston Celtics man has averaged 11.6 points and 6.5 rebounds in 25 games this season. This is Bentil’s first season in Greece after making stops in France and Spain previously.
