Ghana and Peristeri GS Forward Ben Bentil is in line to compete in the Greece A1 Basketball League playoffs for the first time in his first season in the European country.
Peristeri ranks fifth in the 14 team league standings with 16 wins and nine losses ahead of its regular season final game against PAOK.
The matchup against PAOK is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, May 8 with the latter side just a spot behind Peristeri in the standings with 15 wins and 10 losses.
The 2018-2019 regular season in Greece’s top tier comes to an end tomorrow and the top eight teams progress to the playoffs.
Peristeri has booked its place in the postseason but its matchup depends on result from its game against PAOK and fourth ranked Promitheas’ game against Olympiacos.
Ahead of the final game, Bentil is averaging 11.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in a Sixth Man role off the bench. Peristeri recently signed Shooting Guard Chris Flemmings from Cypriot side Etha.
