Ghanaian Small Forward Bashir Ahmed is set to play in Game 3 of the Kosovo Basketball League Finals Series with the series tied after two games.
Bashir’s Prishtina lost 84-87 to Rahoveci in Game 2 after taking a big 110-82 win in the first game between the teams on May 2.
The New York born Ghanaian player came off the bench in game one and scored eight points but moved to the starting lineup for the second game.
Bashir improved his numbers across the board in Game 2 registering 25 points, eight rebounds and assist in 34 minutes as a starter.
The 6 foot 7 inch former St. John’s University product attempted 28 shots in the game; he converted five of 12 from the field, three of six from three point range and six of 10 from the free throw line.
Teammate Dardan Berisha led all players with 26 points but his effort came up short. The teams will face off in Game 3 on Wednesday, May 8.
