Teshie Vikings are still without a win in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League after making three appearances in the young campaign.
Vikings are scheduled to play Tema Wildcats on Sunday, May 5 at the Tema Community 4 Court in a game that could end up extending Vikings losing run this season.
The Teshie side lost 34-35 to fellow Teshie based league side Rangers after falling to the likes of defending champions Nungua Coldstore in previous matchups.
Despite competing well in games, Vikings are prone to a lot of turnovers and switch off defensively in crucial moments in matchups.
On the other hand, Wildcats have performed well in their maiden run out in the league; the team got off to a blistering start beating the talent laden Spintex Knights 47-46 on its debut.
Wildcats fell 30-34 to Francophone Stars in a close game in the last round; Stars placed third in last season’s league campaign.
The fixture is one four set to be played out on Sunday. League leaders Akatsi Rifles play Spintex Knights.
