Nungua Coldstore has started the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League on a tremendous note winning all three games played.
The 2018 league champions will play its fourth game of the season later this weekend on Sunday, May 5 at the Tema Community 4 against Francophone Stars.
Coldstore clinched its third win via a hard fought 40-37 win over Spintex Knights in the biggest matchup in the previous round at the same venue.
Nungua held significant leads heading to the fourth quarter including a 21-10 and 30-19 second and third quarters respectively.
Coldstore beat Teshie Vikings 49-36 in its first appearance of the 2019 season and will compete on Sunday for a fourth straight win.
On the other hand, Francophone Stars have recovered well from a shock loss to league debutant Sakumono Titans to beat Vikings 35-34 and Tema Wildcats 34-30 respectively.
The 2018 Bronze medal winners are riding a winning form setting up a big clash at the C4 Court, The tie is one of four games scheduled for the weekend with Tema Heat taking on Titans in the opening game at 15:30 GMT.
