Leopards (black) v Reformers

Reformers of Ghana Prisons Service is yet to record a win in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I in three games.

Prisons lost 57-73 to Adenta Leopards in midweek league action before home fans at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra.

Heading to the game, Reformers had lost twice in two appearances this season and were on course to clinch its first win after leading the first half 26-19.

Prisons held on to the game’s lead via a 45-42 lead at the end of the third quarter but had a tough time putting an improving Leopards side away.

Leopards capitalized on its strong finish in the third quarter to take the lead after back to back turnovers from Reformers early in the fourth quarter.

Top marksmanship from three point range sandwiched a bevy of jump shots from Forward Muhaimin Guba to give Leopards a 58-48 lead past the midway mark of the quarter.

Leopards lost to defending league champions Braves of Customs in the previous game. Kaneshie Swanlakers beat Novas 72-49 in the Men’s Division II prior to Leopards win.
