Both teams qualified from the Group and proceeded to clinch further wins in the quarterfinals to set up the exciting clash.
Kairouan got past fellow Tunisian side ES Rades 77-76 in the second leg to make the semifinals while Sale had a straight forward win over Nigeria’s Civil Defenders after drawing 69-69 in the first leg in Abuja.
