University of Ghana (UG) Men’s Basketball Shooting Guard Emmanuel Wolff believes his exceptional run with the team won’t be repeated ever again.
He made the bold statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com in the aftermath of leading UG to a fourth Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
UG beat Takoradi Technical University (TTU) 37-32 in the 2019 UPAC Final recently with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology placing third.
The win was Wolff’s final act with UG as he is set to graduate later this year; he was named Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.
After winning a ton of trophies with the Guerillas, Wolff stated:
“I don’t think anyone has ever done it-winning all games in four years at UG-I don’t think anyone will be able to do it again”.
Wolff won the prestigious UPAC title in each year with UG, two Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games, two All Africa University Games titles and the 2017 Mini GUSA Games.
UG won all games in his four stay at Ghana’s premier University. His jersey has been retired.
