Basketball games in Ghana at all levels are generally at the mercy of the weather that tends to have a lot of rain at this time of the year.
As such, it is was of little surprise games in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League this past weekend were called off due to rain.
Three fixtures were scheduled to be played out at the Tema Community 4 Court but to rain on the unroofed court, the games have been postponed to a yet to be determined date.
Teshie Vikings was pegged to play Tema Heat with Sakumono Titans set to play Tema Rockets in the final game. The first game on the day between Francophone Stars and Teshie Rangers went on as planned but couldn’t end.
The game was stopped with four minutes and 24 seconds left to play and Basketballghana.com gathers rescheduled games are likely to be played on Fridays to ensure the regular season timeline is met.
