Ghana Forward Ben Bentil’s double digit scoring run has come to an end; the mini streak came to an end this past weekend in Peristeri GS 84-77 win over Kolossos HH in the Greece A1 Basketball League.
Bentil scored eight points, gathered nine rebounds and added two assists, a steal and a block in 21 minutes off the bench.
Prior to Peristeri’s latest win, Bentil went on an impressive run that had him score 21 points against league leading side Panathinaikos.
However, the former Dallas Mavericks player didn’t have a good time shooting the ball against Kolossos as he converted three of seven field goal attempts and missed all two attempts from three point range.\
With the regular season coming to an end, Bentil is averaging 11.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in his maiden campaign in Greece’s top flight.
Peristeri was led by Guard Steven Gray’s 22 point performance with support coming from the likes of Jordan Callahan in the game.
This is Peristeri’s 16th win of the season in 24 games.
