Takoradi Technical University
KTU celebrate qualification
Two time UPAC Champions ATU.
Defending Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship University of Ghana (UG) are billed to play Takoradi Technical University (TTU) in a huge opening matchup in the 2019 UPac Championship.

This year’s quarterfinals are scheduled to take place at UG’s Central Court with UG aiming to win a record extending fourth UPAC Championship.

Takoradi Technical has consistently featured in the semifinals of the prestigious competition but failed on several occasions to make the finals.

The clash between the title contenders is the first game in today’s competition with the other Group A matchup between Koforidua Technical University and Catholic University College, Ghana.

Both teams are making their debut at this stage of the competition and either side is vying for its first win in the knockout phase.

Group B has former winners Accra Technical University (ATU) scheduled to play Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the third game.

The fourth game has Marshalls University College and Radford University College. Radford topped Zone 7 to make the quarterfinals.
