Braves of Customs Female Basketball Team Coach Seth Okine have expressed a lot of confidence in his team’s approach to the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.

Braves are scheduled to compete in the opening round of the new league season against University of Ghana on Saturday, April 20 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Customs dominance on the Ghanaian scene was halted last season as the team missed out on clinching the league title and CAP 7 Memorial Tournament.

CAP 7 Tournament was organized to honour former ABL Chairman and Braves Sports Director Benjamin Baafi. In both competitions, Ghana Police Service edged Braves.

However, Coach Okine believes a turnaround is on the horizon stating, “We are entering into it (the league) with full vim because we are going to start the game with all the arsenals that we have….last year weren’t able to capture the ultimate but this time around…we are going to make them (our top rivals) smell the heat”.

Braves Male side competed this past week and clinched a 55-44 win over Adenta Leopards.
