The 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) will commence on Saturday, April 6 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The start date was released after a special clinic was organized this past week at the aforementioned venue. The announcement was one of the main items discussed at the event.
Per reports gathered, seven league games are to be played every week this season with two games in midweek, two on Fridays and three games on Saturday.
The schedule covers games in the Men’s Division I, Men’s Division II and Women’s Division respectively this season.
The full schedule is yet to be released but reports indicate the full set of games is to be released later this week.
However, the first set of games has Ghana National Fire Service taking on Ghana Police Service in the first game at 15:00 GMT.
Defending Champions Braves of Customs play Adenta Leopards before Tudu Magic take on Reformers of Prisons in the final game. All three games are in the Men’s Division I.
